Republican Debate Transcript
Mike Huckabee got some seriously low air-time, but when he spoke, he hit it out of the park, as usual. His comments on energy independence were particularly good. I think it's fair to say MSNBC is very biased against Huckabee. They cycled all the candidates twice before they got back to Huckabee. Pathetic.
Fred Thompson showed he had a very low speaking capacity. He didn't look like he was ready, and now I know why he was avoiding all the debates. He was coughing and clearing his throat a lot - a sure sign of nervousness.
Giuliani had a good night, so did Romney. McCain was average. Ron Paul blew it by saying he wouldn't support a Republican nominee. The rest aren't worth mentioning.

Chris Matthews disgusted me with how he let the likes of Rudy and Mitt get all the time they wanted while ignoring the surging candidate.
Mike did well when he was allowed to talk.
I got the poll up on my blog along with coverage of the debate. Thanks for posting the transcript.
Notice how the idiot kept interupting Mike when he got to talk, not once did I hear him interupt anyone else, they fear Huckabee, that's very clear.
Mike did sizzle I agree! And for the Record Fred, The debates are more boring since you entered the race.. because now all the focus is on a big boring speaker with no record.. you do have one good record though.. your record to not show up to debates is very impressive!
Huckabee 08
Huckabee is a good 'ol boy, a lot like Fred Thompson. Two peas in a pod. Two birds of a feather. Either one of them would do the same thing as President.
Only one candidate stood out from the pack in prominate ways, and when asked if he would support one of the other candidates should they win the nomination, his answer was right-on! NO. Not unless they changed their platform similar to his. Ron Paul is the only constitutional candidate. The others fold and bend anyway the CFR instructs them.
If you like Amnesty, you'll love Huck.
If you like the new expanded SCHIP, you'll love Huck.
If you like ethically challenged politicans from Hope, Arkansas, you'll really love Huck.
If you like conservative candidates, then you're out of luck with Huck.
